CABO VERDE AIRLINES intends to select, through an external recruitment process, candidates to fill the position of Catering Technician, assigned to the Commercial Directorate.
Minimum Requirements (eliminatory)

Completion of secondary education (12th grade) (a bachelor’s degree is a plus but does not replace the minimum requirement);

Basic computer skills (Microsoft Office, with emphasis on Excel);
-
Availability to work shifts, including weekends and public holidays;
-
Physical ability to handle/control trolleys and light catering loads, in compliance with safety standards;
-
Basic knowledge of the English language.

Selection Process

Duties
-
Prepare flight manifests according to standard load;
-
Prepare, send, and update catering orders to service providers;
-
Prepare flights by loading and controlling trolleys, linen bags, and all necessary items according to standard load and defined routines;

Carry out aircraft loading and unloading in accordance with safety standards and established procedures;
-
Send cabin textile materials for cleaning;
-
Send headsets and other entertainment equipment for sterilization;
-
Collect imported cargo from the Customs warehouse, recording outbound and inbound movements;
-
Ensure that flight loading is complete in accordance with established standards;
-
Work on administrative processes related to catering activities, namely inventory and stock control;
-
Know and apply procedures defined in the Quality Management System, as well as applicable regulations and standards affecting duties and responsibilities;
-
Detect, identify, and record non-conformities in the appropriate documents;
-
Cooperate in Quality Audits;
-
Participate in training activities required for the performance of the role;
-
Perform duties with the objective of ensuring operational quality and safety and rationalizing operational costs;
-
Carry out any other tasks assigned that fall within the scope of professional competence.
